Welcome Manager (Band 1)
The contract is full time and permanent, and the annual salary is £26,793. Your working time will be 37.50 hours each week. The employer, National Trust, is a charity. You will be based at Coleton Fishacre, which is an estate, which could mean diversity in the role. Note some estates are far from public transport. It is located in Devon.

We’re looking for someone with a gift for helping everyone to feel welcome to join us as a Welcome Manager at Coleton Fishacre and across the South Devon coast to Wembury, including Overbecks and all our coastal car parks, leading our vital welcome teams across this property group.
You'll regularly act as duty manager for Coleton Fishacre and Overbecks, with specific responsibilities including safeguarding, cash and tills, fire, security and evacuation. You'll be the main point of contact for staff, volunteers and visitors in case of emergency, enquiries or complaints.
You’ll lead and manage our teams of welcome and service assistants and some volunteers. You’ll be responsible for making sure that day-to-day operations run smoothly in the all-important welcome areas across multiple sites, including our pay for entry properties at Coleton Fishacre and Overbecks Garden, and our manned car parks at Wembury and South Milton Sands, with responsibility for the maintenance of our car park machines across the South Hams coastal area. You’ll inspire and care for your team, encouraging them to give the highest standards of service and to help grow our charitable income. You and your team will be focused on helping everyone you meet to have their best possible day, whatever it takes.
You’ll be using good judgement and decision making to lead from the front, in line with National Trust guidelines, values and policies.
