Museum Jobs is an aggregator website that collects job vacancy data directly from job advertisers and presents them in an accessible and searchable format, optimised for the user experience. By capturing and providing a comprehensive overview of vacant roles, we aim to provide a singular source for job vacancies in the museum and heritage sectors.
Job roles cannot be applied for through the website, however all listings feature a link to the original advert.

Eligibility

We aim to advertise job roles within organisations in the museum and heritage sector — including sites governed by charity, council, commercial or other types of organisation.
• Vacancies that job seekers will associate with work in museums, heritage, or other cultural settings (includes roles for back-office staff, catering and events, and warehouses not always open to the public for heritage-focused organisations).
• Paid positions only (with the exception of Trustee positions).

We do not advertise jobs in the broader cultural space, such as galleries without a permanent collection, commercial galleries, arts centres or theatres.
• Roles that might be associated with a heritage venue but are not associated with delivering a heritage experience (examples include property companies associated with country houses, farms associated with estates, academic staff not directly servicing a museum, or exclusively private houses not open to the public). Other off-heritage occupations include nature conservation and holidays.
• Volunteer positions (with the exception of Trustee positions).
