Job Description

We’re looking for a General Cleaner with the practical skills and eye for detail to keep Powis Castle in excellent condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit.

This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can’t guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We’ll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts. Typical shifts are 08:00-14:30 and 08:00-15:30.

You’ll be helping with the day-to-day cleaning and presentation of the National Trust’s buildings and outdoor spaces.

Duties such as cleaning, sweeping and litter-picking, both inside and outdoors, form a core part of this role. You’ll aim for the highest standards of customer service everywhere you look after.
