Job Description

We create memorable experiences across our places, from historic houses to beautiful landscapes. Our Weddings and Events operations play a key part in this, helping people celebrate some of life’s most important moments.

We’re looking for Bar Staff to support our weddings and events. In this role, you’ll help deliver exceptional service to clients and their guests, ensuring every visit feels special. By offering a warm welcome, preparing and serving drinks to a high standard, and supporting the smooth running of each event, you’ll play an important part in helping us care for nature, beauty and history for everyone, for ever.

This location is in a rural area, so please think about how you’d get here for work, before applying for the job.

Hours/ working pattern: This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can’t guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We’ll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts. You'll mainly work Fridays and Saturdays up to 12 hour shifts.

Salary: £12.25 per hour - we’re currently undertaking our pay review process and it is likely that this salary will be increased from 1st April 2026.

Contract duration: Fixed term contract until 31st December 2026

Due to the requirements of the role, we require you to be 16 or above for this position.

For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

Benefits: We want to help you look after the things that matter to you, such as saving for your future, getting a discount on your weekly shop, or encouraging you to find a work-life balance. Please read our package, below, to see what benefits we offer you.
