We’re looking for someone with a love of history and an eye for detail, who’s friendly and open with all people. This role is about looking after a historic house and its collections of furniture, textiles and works of art. And it’s about presenting all of this to people visiting and helping to make every person’s day memorable and enjoyable.

The advertised salary is £12,022.40 inclusive of an Outer London weighting allowance of £1,414.40

The working pattern for this role is: Sundays 08.30-17.00, Monday 08.30-17.15.

For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

The 17th century treasure, Ham House, is situated on the banks of the Thames, a stroll along the river from Richmond station. Boasting an internationally significant collection, exquisite gardens, orangery café and meadow nearby, it is no surprise this it is the most visited pay for entry site for the National Trust in London. An increasing awareness of our local audience and their needs will be shaping the direction at Ham, as we look to grow our supporters and assert ourselves in the competitive London cultural landscape.
