General Cleaner
The contract is part time and permanent, and the hourly rate is £12.25. There are 624.00 hours available over the course of a year. The employer, National Trust, is a charity. You will be based at Wimpole Estate, which is an estate, which could mean diversity in the role. Note some estates are far from public transport. It is located in Cambridgeshire.

We’re looking for a General Cleaner with the practical skills and eye for detail to keep the Food and Beverage department at Wimpole Estate in excellent condition for our visitors.
Reporting to the Food and Beverage management team you will joining over 50 employees/volunteers who work within the department.
Our cleaners follow a shift pattern of 3/4 days per week including alternate weekends, working 3-4 hours per day after service so usually mid afternoon to early evening
For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.
Reporting to the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you’ll be based at Wimpole. A living, working estate with an impressive 17th Century mansion, park, gardens and rare breed farm. In addition, Wimpole has a gift shop and a second-hand bookshop. The Old Rectory Café serves light lunches, homemade cakes and specials using produce from the kitchen garden. We have two other outlets The Farm Café and the Stables Café serving hot and cold food and drink.

Keeping our 3 outlets clean is the core part of this role. You’ll aim for the highest standards of customer service everywhere you look after.
