Job Description

**Important notice**

In line with our redeployment policy, we’ll prioritise applications from employees who are under formal notice of redundancy.

We're looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator to help keep the Lincolnshire Coast properties in tiptop condition for the people who visit. You will be expected to work on some bank holidays and weekend days, depending on operational requirements. Some travel across the portfolio is also required

We're embarking on our new strategy, “People and Places Thriving,” with its focus on restoring nature, ending unequal access and inspiring millions. The Lincolnshire Coast is a key location for us to deliver this.

The portfolio consists of a historic mansion, beautiful gardens and extensive parkland, a brand-new nature reserve, due to be fully open in 2026, a Baptist Chapel and a medieval castle and grounds. You'll need work across all of these locations.

As Facilities Co-ordinator, you’ll be making sure that the Lincolnshire Coast Properties operate as they should, helping with maintenance and repairs (reactive, planned and preventative), and helping the property team to meet their goals by keeping standards high. Whether it's making sure the presentation of public areas and visitor facilities, including car parks and grounds, is first class, preparing meeting rooms or co-ordinating deliveries and collections, you’ll be working alongside other facilities and visitor operation colleagues.

This is a physically active role. A typical day may be meeting several different contractors through the day, walking them to the part of the site they are working on and supervising their work, plus responding to calls from different parts of the site to check on facilities issues. You'll help the property teams respond to day to day issues such as broken toilets, locks and signs. There will also be some requirement to undertake minor repair works on site.

You'll build and maintain good relationships with visitor facing teams on site, and will be comfortable responding to problems confidently and proactively.

You could also be asked to be part of a duty management rota. This means being responsible on the day for the smooth running of the property during opening hours, acting as the main contact point for staff, volunteers, and visitors in case of emergency, enquiry or complaint.

You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. You don't need to have all of the knowledge, skills and experience listed in the role profile; this is just to provide a full picture of what’s possible in this role.

We'd love to hear from you if you’re:

  • customer focused with a positive attitude
  • a team player, but also can work on your own initiative
  • comfortable using IT packages
  • well organised and adaptable
  • happy to learn new skills
